Click here to read the full story >> Recently a StalkDaily.com XSS worm hit the popular micro-blogging site Twitter compromising security and automatically hijacking user accounts. 17 years old author of the worm Mikey Mooney who lives in Winnfield, Louisiana claimed responsibility for releasing the worm to prove that Twitter is very vunerable to cross site scripting flaw.
The spam worm was spread through Twitter profile pages–just visiting a member’s profile was enough to spread the infection. The code used to infect people’s accounts were on the Twitter pages themselves.
